INFORMATION SHEET
The purposes of the Association are to organize, promote, encourage, assist, and develop the interests of all visual artist members and artist affiliates on the island of St. John. Your fees are used to support these endeavors.

Dues may be paid at any time during the membership year (July 1 thru June 30). Dues are not pro-rated. To be assured of inclusion in the annual AASJ Directory dues must be paid by June 30 of the new membership year.

Members and Associates art related websites will be listed in the StJohnArts.org directory.

Members and Associates with websites are asked to link to the AASJ website at www.stjohnarts.org.

CLASSIFICATIONS & BENEFITS You may join AASJ as:
	Member: $125 (age 18 and over) This is an individual who is a full time resident of St. John and/or property owner on St. John. This entitles the Member to voting privileges, publication in the AASJ Directory, and notification of the AASJ meetings and events. Additionally, if the Member is an artist he/she has the opportunity to exhibit in the AASJ Gallery, the opportunity to have a portfolio in the AASJ Gallery Binder, to supply brochures and business cards at the AASJ Gallery (see Gallery Rules), and the opportunity to participate in AASJ exhibitions.
	Affiliate: $125 (age 18 and over) This is an individual who is not a full time resident of St. John and/or property owner on St. John. This entitles the Affiliate to publication in the AASJ Directory, and notification of the AASJ meetings and events. Additionally, if the Affiliate is an artist he/she has the opportunity to exhibit one piece of work at a time in the AASJ Gallery, the opportunity to have a portfolio in the AASJ Gallery Binder, to supply brochures and business cards at the AASJ Gallery (see Gallery Rules), and the opportunity to participate in selected AASJ exhibitions.
	Gallery/Business: $125 This entitles a business to join AASJ as an Affiliate. The Business Affiliate is entitled to publication in the AASJ Directory, and notification of AASJ meetings and events. Art related businesses are given the opportunity to have a portfolio in the AASJ Gallery Binder and may supply brochures and business cards at the AASJ Gallery.
	Friend: $250 The Friend is entitled to publication in the AASJ Directory, and notification of AASJ meetings and events.
	Patron: $500 The Patron is entitled to special preview receptions with the artists, 5% off purchases at the AASJ Gallery and at AASJ exhibitions, mention in the AASJ Directory, and notification of AASJ meetings and events.
	Sponsor: $1,000 The Sponsor is entitled to special preview receptions with the artists, 10% off purchases at the AASJ Gallery and at AASJ exhibitions, mention in the AASJ Directory, and notification of AASJ meetings and events.
	Benefactor: $2,500 The Benefactor is entitled to special preview receptions with the artists, 10% off purchases at the AASJ Gallery and at AASJ exhibitions, mention in the AASJ Directory, and notification of AASJ meetings and events.
	Founder: $5,000 and above The Founder is entitled to special preview receptions with the artists, 10% off purchases at the AASJ Gallery and at AASJ exhibitions, mention in the AASJ Directory, and notification of AASJ meetings and events.
